Arsa Water Technology

Demineralization Plant (DM)

The Demineralization Process, also referred to as Deionization, is a specialized ion exchange water treatment technique designed to remove dissolved ionized solids, salts, and conductivity from water. This process is essential in applications where ultra-pure water is required. It works through a two-stage resin exchange system involving cation and anion exchange resins.

In the first stage, raw water passes through a strong acid cation resin, which replaces all positively charged ions (such as calcium, magnesium, sodium) with hydrogen ions. In the second stage, the water flows through a strong base anion resin, which removes negatively charged ions (such as chloride, sulfate, nitrate) by exchanging them with hydroxide ions. The hydrogen and hydroxide ions then combine to form pure water (H₂O).

At Arsa Water Technology, we offer high-performance DM Plants that are designed for continuous operation, low regeneration frequency, and long service life. Our systems ensure zero TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) output, making them ideal for process-critical applications.
